DISABLED MOTHER OF 2 IN FINANCIAL NEED

I am 48, disabled, and in need of financial help.  My son has been accepted into college, and we are in need of about $2,500 to cover books and some tuition not covered by the grants and federal loans he has received.  I am also in need of a dependable car.  The one I have is about 15 years old, and is not running well, and with my disability, I am not able to walk very well.  When it breaks down, I am stuck in the car until somebody stops to help, or unless my mom has lent me her cell phone.  I think that around $3,500 will get a decent used car, but I don't have enough income to save that much, and I don't qualify for loans due to my limited income.  I receive Social Security Disability, and it barely covers the rent and utilities.  Actually, it doesn't really cover ALL of the utilities, but I usually manage to pay enough to keep them from getting turned off!  Actually, I could use about $1,100 to help me with my gas bill also, but my priority is the college and the car.  Any amount at all would certainly help, and I am praying daily for a good samaritan, or even 100 good samaritans, to help me out.
